Mission and Vision

Development Mission

We uphold the principles of truth-seeking, cultural stewardship, and open public access. By lowering publication barriers for early-career scholars and researchers from regional institutions, we aim to expand the digital and international circulation of Chinese humanities and social science research, support equal exchange across intellectual traditions, and ensure that valuable specialized scholarship can be discovered, cited, and shared.

Core Vision

Our goal is to become a distinctive benchmark for high-quality open-access publishing in the humanities and social sciences in China. We are building an integrated academic service platform spanning journals, books, think-tank outputs, research support, and early-career scholar development, while shaping an independent publishing brand defined by scholarly rigor, public openness, and cultural continuity.

Open Access and Publishing Support

Open journals, free to read

All journals published by Qiuzhen Academic Publishing follow a fully open-access model. Every article is freely available to read, download, and cite worldwide immediately after publication, with no subscription or paywall.

To sustain this publishing model, we use Article Processing Charges (APCs) to support editorial and production work. These costs are typically covered by the author's university, research institution, or funded project.

We remain committed to transparent, fair, and efficient publishing practices. Each journal sets reasonable fee standards according to disciplinary requirements and page formats, with selected support measures that encourage submissions from early-career scholars and independent researchers.

Indexing and permanent preservation

We are actively expanding submission to major domestic and international scholarly databases in order to strengthen discoverability and long-term research visibility.

All publications are preserved through PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network), ensuring long-term accessibility, durable preservation, and digital security for the scholarly record.

Sustainability Statement

Sustainability is a core development principle and long-term operating standard at Qiuzhen Academic Publishing. Since our founding, we have integrated responsible academic publishing, fair knowledge dissemination, and low-carbon operations across the full publishing workflow, while taking seriously our role in strengthening the scholarly ecosystem, supporting cultural continuity, and contributing to the public good.

Our sustainability practice centers on open publishing and broad access to academic resources. In alignment with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we prioritize humanities and social science research related to educational equity, cultural heritage, social governance, ecological civilization, rural cultural revitalization, and public welfare innovation. Through a comprehensive open-access model, we lower barriers to publication and access so that high-quality work from scholars across institutions, regions, and fields can circulate freely and equitably.

To implement this strategy systematically, we are developing a dedicated sustainability framework for academic publishing, benchmarked against international standards and informed by the principles of the SDG Publishers Compact.

In green publishing and low-carbon operations, we are advancing fully digital workflows, paper-light processes, and efficient production systems. Online submissions, cloud-based editorial review, digital typesetting, online-first release, and long-term digital preservation all help reduce material consumption and operational emissions while supporting a modern, efficient publishing infrastructure.

Looking ahead, Qiuzhen Academic Publishing will continue to ground its work in scholarly integrity, social responsibility, and green innovation. By refining sustainable publishing standards, expanding inclusive academic services, and maintaining disciplined low-carbon operations, we aim to contribute durable professional value to both the scholarly ecosystem and broader cultural progress.
