Open Access Policy

We believe scientific research should benefit humanity without barriers. At Qiuzhen Academic Publishing, all articles follow a Gold Open Access model to support the free global circulation of knowledge.

1. Open Access Model

Gold Open Access

All journals published by Qiuzhen Academic Publishing operate under a Gold Open Access model. Once published, articles are immediately available online for any reader to access, download, copy, distribute, print, and search without restriction.

No Subscription Barrier

Readers, libraries, and institutions are not required to pay subscription fees, pay-per-view charges, or any access-related cost in order to read published content. Open dissemination is the default basis of our scholarly communication model.

2. Copyright and Licensing

Copyright Retention

Authors publishing with Qiuzhen Academic Publishing do not transfer ownership of copyright to the publisher. Authors retain full copyright in their work while granting the publisher the non-exclusive rights necessary for scholarly publication, dissemination, and archiving.

Creative Commons License

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to copy, share, adapt, and reuse the material, including for commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given, the license is linked, and any changes are indicated.

3. APC Transparency and Waivers

APC Disclosure

To sustain peer-review administration, production, hosting, and long-term preservation, some journals may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC). Where an APC applies, the amount will be stated clearly on the journal homepage and within the submission system. We do not impose hidden fees beyond those explicitly disclosed.

Editorial Independence

Payment status has no influence on editorial evaluation. Peer review, editorial assessment, and acceptance decisions are based solely on academic quality, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance.

Waiver Policy

We support authors from low-income and lower-middle-income countries and authors with demonstrated financial need. APC waiver or discount requests may be submitted during the manuscript process and will be reviewed according to fairness, consistency, and journal policy.

4. Archiving and Self-Archiving

Long-term Digital Preservation

Qiuzhen Academic Publishing assigns a unique DOI to every article and provides structured XML metadata to support discoverability, citation integrity, and machine readability. Published content is preserved through internationally aligned long-term archiving mechanisms to ensure durable accessibility over time.

Self-Archiving

We encourage authors to disseminate their work through preprint servers, institutional repositories, personal websites, and scholarly networks. Authors may archive and share preprint versions, accepted manuscripts, and the version of record without embargo in order to expand access and scholarly visibility.
